REVIEWING PARAMETERS

Professional, high-level appointed reviewers – two ex-Michelin reviewers and two professional diners who are recognized for their expertise in food and beverage – conduct the evaluations. All have an innate understanding of the food and beverage industry, but are not directly involved in any of the hospitality outlets in the region, financially or otherwise.

THE AWARDS

Nominees and winners of the ‘Best Cuisine per Category’ are selected by a secret ballot conducted by the review team, i.e. by a jury panel selection. More than 20 awards are presented to the best cuisines, and nominees and winners of the other criteria are selected by a public voting process.

RESTAURANT ELIGIBILITY

No restaurant can apply for nomination. The nomination for all categories is based on the review team's evaluations. Any restaurant is eligible for the awards provided they are:
• Recognized by Grumpy Gourmet
• Licensed by the Ministry of Tourism
